Connect GoHighLevel to Centerfy

Three ways to connect GoHighLevel: agency-wide OAuth, direct sub-account connection, or external sub-account linking.

There are three ways to connect GoHighLevel depending on your setup. Choose the one that matches your situation.

1. Agency-level connection

Use this if you are a white-label agency owner connecting your entire GHL agency to Centerfy. This is done from the Agency Workspace.

  1. Open Agency Settings

Go to Agency Workspace > Settings > Integrations.

  2. Connect GoHighLevel

Click Connect next to GoHighLevel. You are redirected to the GHL OAuth screen.

  3. Authorize at agency level

Log in with your GHL Agency account (not a sub-account). Check Allow access to all sub-accounts before confirming.

  4. Verify

The integration shows as connected. All sub-accounts under your GHL agency are now accessible in Centerfy.

2. Direct sub-account connection

Use this if you are connecting a single sub-account directly — without an agency-level connection. This is done from within a sub-account.

  1. Open Sub-Account Settings

Inside your sub-account, go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Connect GoHighLevel

Click Connect next to GoHighLevel. You are redirected to the GHL OAuth screen.

  3. Authorize the sub-account

Log in and select the specific GHL sub-account (location) you want to connect. Do not select the full agency.

  4. Verify

The integration shows as connected. Contacts, conversations, and appointments sync between this sub-account and GHL.

3. External GHL sub-account

Use this if a client has a GHL sub-account under a different agency and you want to manage it in your Centerfy workspace.

  1. Open Sub-Accounts

Go to Agency Workspace > Sub-Accounts and click the Create Sub-Account dropdown.

  2. Select Connect External GHL Subaccount

Choose Connect External GHL Subaccount. Do not use “Use Agency Connection” — that only works for sub-accounts under your own GHL agency.

  3. Authenticate with the external account

A GHL OAuth window opens. Log in with credentials for the external GHL account that owns the sub-account.

  4. Select the sub-account

Choose the specific sub-account to link. It appears in your Centerfy workspace alongside your native accounts.

After connecting GHL, add a custom menu link so your sub-account users can access Centerfy directly from the GHL sidebar.

  1. Open Custom Menu Links in GHL

In GoHighLevel, go to Agency > Settings > Custom Menu Links.

  2. Create a new link

Click Add Link and fill in:

    • Link Icon — choose an icon from the picker (Lucide icons)
    • Link Title — display name in the sidebar (e.g., “AI Agents” or “Centerfy”)
    • URL — your platform URL (e.g., your white-label domain or aicrmpro.us)
    • Menu Position — where the link appears relative to other menu items
  3. Set open behavior

Under When Clicked, choose how the link opens:

    • Embed inside platform — opens in an iframe within GHL (recommended)
    • Open in new tab — opens in a separate browser tab
  4. Set sidebar visibility

Under Sidebar Preference, choose where the link appears:

    • Agency Sidebar — visible in the agency view
    • Sub-account Sidebar — visible inside sub-accounts

You can also select which specific sub-accounts see the link, exclude certain accounts, and set Role-Based Visibility to control whether all users or only admins can see it.

  5. Save

Click Save. The link appears in the GHL sidebar immediately for the selected accounts.
