Connect GoHighLevel or your built-in CRM to Centerfy

Step-by-step guide to connecting GoHighLevel or setting up Centerfy's built-in CRM so your AI agents can sync contacts, calls, and bookings automatically.

Before your AI agents can log calls, update contacts, and write appointments back to your calendar, you need to connect a CRM. Centerfy gives you two paths: connect your existing GoHighLevel account via OAuth, or use Centerfy’s own built-in contact management with no external tool required.

If you’re already using GoHighLevel, connecting it to Centerfy syncs your contacts, conversations, appointments, notes, and tags in both directions — automatically, with no manual data entry.

  1. Open the Integrations tab

    In Centerfy, navigate to Settings and select the Integrations tab.

  2. Start the GoHighLevel connection

    Click Connect GoHighLevel. Centerfy will redirect you to the GoHighLevel OAuth authorization screen.

  3. Authorize at the agency level

    In GoHighLevel, make sure you are authorizing with your Agency account — not an individual sub-account. Check the Allow access to all sub-accounts option before confirming.

  4. Complete the authorization

    Click Authorize in GoHighLevel. You’ll be redirected back to Centerfy automatically once the connection is established.

  5. Verify the connection

    Back in Centerfy, the Integrations tab will show GoHighLevel as connected. Your contacts and sub-account data will begin syncing immediately.

Once GoHighLevel is connected, Centerfy keeps the following data in sync automatically:

Every call your AI agents handle is logged as a conversation in GoHighLevel, and every appointment booked appears on your GHL calendar without any manual work.

Troubleshooting

OAuth authorization failed or returned an error

If the OAuth flow fails or you see an authorization error when returning to Centerfy, disconnect the integration from the Integrations tab and repeat the connection steps. Make sure you are authorizing with your agency-level account and that Allow access to all sub-accounts is checked before confirming.

Contacts or appointments are not syncing

Verify that the GoHighLevel location ID shown in Centerfy matches the agency location you authorized. If there is a mismatch, disconnect and reconnect the integration to re-establish the correct scope.

AI agents can't access a specific sub-account

Centerfy requires agency-level access to reach sub-accounts. If you connected at the sub-account level by mistake, disconnect the integration, then reconnect using your agency account and confirm the Allow access to all sub-accounts option.

If you don’t use GoHighLevel — or you want to keep everything inside Centerfy — you don’t need to connect anything. Centerfy includes its own built-in contact management system that works out of the box.

Accessing your contacts

Navigate to Contacts in the main sidebar to view, search, and manage every lead in your pipeline. You can filter by tag, pipeline stage, or date, and click into any contact to see the full conversation and booking history.
