Build websites and funnels with the AI Site Builder
Create websites with AI or import an existing site, edit visually, publish to a free URL or custom domain, and sell with Stripe checkout, order bumps, and one-click upsells.
The Site Builder (Sites) creates and hosts full websites: describe what you want and the AI builds it, or import an existing website. You then refine it with a visual drag-and-drop editor, publish to a hosted URL or your own custom domain, and — with Stripe connected — sell products with embedded checkout, order bumps, and one-click upsells (a full sales funnel).
Opening Sites
Click Build in the sidebar, then open the Sites tab. (Sites and App Builder are tabs on the Build page — there is no separate “Sites” sidebar item.)
Standard operating procedure: create a site
- Click New Site.
- Choose a mode:
- Open website builder — start fresh and build with AI.
- Import from external site — clone an existing website. Enter the URL; the importer pulls that page plus up to 99 linked pages from the same domain (keep the tab open while it runs).
- Enter a Site Name and URL Slug (lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes; must be unique in your sub-account).
- Click Create & Open Builder (or Import Site).
New builder sites start with a Home page and a styled 404 page. Published sites live at https://aicrm.work/sites/<sub-account>/<slug> until you connect a custom domain.
Working in the builder
The builder has an AI chat panel on the left and a live visual preview on the right.
AI chat — on a new site you can start three ways: Start with a Prompt, the Website Wizard (business name, description, industry, testimonials, logo/image uploads, and readability settings), or Import a Webpage. After that, just describe changes in the chat — you can attach images/documents, queue up multiple prompts, and stop generation at any time.
Visual editor — the preview toolbar gives you:
- Add Element — a palette of Rows, Text, Forms, Media, Countdowns, Blocks, Social embeds, Order/checkout elements, full Sections, and Blog elements. Form, Survey, and Calendar elements embed your existing CRM forms and booking calendars.
- Popups — build and manage popups per page.
- Desktop / Tablet / Mobile viewport preview, Undo/Redo, and a Code view to edit the page HTML directly.
- Click any element on the canvas to move, clone, hide, restyle, or delete it; text gets a full rich-text toolbar (fonts, sizes, colors, links).
Pages — the page selector dropdown adds, duplicates, and deletes pages. Page Settings holds the page title, URL, SEO meta description, social OG image, favicon (set from the Home page), and custom head/footer scripts and CSS.
Versions — the Versions button lists snapshots you can restore. Edits autosave; Save flushes immediately.
Selling: checkout, order bumps, and upsells
- First connect Stripe under Settings → Integrations — checkout is unavailable without it.
- In the builder, click Add Element → Order → Payment Checkout.
- In the Insert Payment Checkout modal, configure:
- Product — name, price, currency, one-time or subscription, and a Product Library to reuse saved products.
- Bumps — order bumps offered on the checkout form.
- Upsells — one-click post-purchase upsell offers.
- Settings — checkout style (redirect, or 1-step / 2-step embedded order form), button label, success URL, cancel URL, and an optional webhook.
Order bumps and one-click upsells require the embedded 1-step or 2-step order form style (not redirect). Payments run on your connected Stripe account.
Publishing and domains
- Click Publish — the popover shows your live URL with copy/open buttons.
- Custom domain: on the Sites list, open ⋮ → Custom Domain and follow the DNS instructions. If you use Cloudflare, set the record to DNS only (grey cloud). The badge shows Verifying until DNS propagates, then Connected.
- Unpublish takes the site fully offline (the published files are removed until you publish again).
- ⋮ → Site Redirects manages redirects from old paths or domains to new URLs.
Prerequisites and limits
- Sites must be enabled for the sub-account.
- Site import: maximum 100 pages, same-domain links only, and larger sites take a while — keep the page open.
- Checkout requires Stripe connected in Settings → Integrations.
- Changing a slug changes the site URL — re-publish after changing it.
- Deleting a site requires typing its slug to confirm and is permanent.
